The “Morning Fix” clinic is designed for people to get some quick stress relief and to treat conditions worse with stress such as anxiety or insomnia. It could also be very effective for helping to treat all kinds of addictions, including opiod addiction. Jason Trakas, L.Ac. will be accepting walk-ins Monday and Tuesday mornings from 8-9am in our Greensboro office to provide ear acupuncture so you can center and prepare for the day ahead.
Although they may have some benefit, these are not treatments designed to manage complex issues like digestive problems, fertility concerns etc. The practitioner will not be offering comprehensive health advice, but will simply be creating a space where the patient can relax and focus.
These treatments help calm the sympathetic nervous system “flight or fight” response so that the body can begin to re-balance itself. We are offering this clinic for folks who might need to come in more often (while trying to quit smoking for example) or who don’t feel they need a full treatment but would just like a little stress relief.
Conditions best suited to this clinic include:
- General stress management
- Addiction (smoking, food, alcohol, opiods, etc)
You must be a current patient at Stillpoint to take advantage of this clinic. If you are not already established with us, simply make an appointment for a New Patient Intake without Acupuncture. This visit takes about 30 minutes and costs $45. Once this visit is complete, you are free to take advantage of this and any of our other community clinic or private office visits at the follow-up rate.
Please be sure to eat a little something before you come in, and let the practitioner know if you need to be done by a certain time. This is a walk-in clinic, so patients are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your treatment will last approximately 20-30 minutes.
